Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website [www.glensidelogistics.com] (“Website”) or any services (“Services”) provided by Glenside Logistics Ltd. (“We”, “Us”, “Our”).
By accessing our Website or using our Services, you (“You”, “Client”, “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Scope of Services
We provide specialized logistics services across the entirety of the United Kingdom. Our core services include, but are not limited to:

Repossessed vehicle transport

General vehicle logistics

At-home collection, packaging, and delivery

Secure payment facilitation (via segregated accounts)
We do not currently offer services internationally.
3. Quotes, Booking, and Payment

Quotes: All quotes are provided on an individual basis and are valid for a period of 24 to 48 hours, depending on the reservation details.

Payment Due: Full payment is required in advance to secure your booking. Payment must be made within 24 to 48 hours of invoice issuance and before the Service commences.

Payment Method: We accept payment via bank transfer only to our designated company account.

Delayed Payment: Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking or a delay in your Service.

Additional Charges: We reserve the right to apply additional charges for:

Excessive waiting time (over 30 minutes) at collection or delivery.

Failed collection/delivery attempts due to Client error (e.g., incorrect address, vehicle not accessible, no one present).

Storage fees if the Client delays delivery.

Any non-disclosed conditions that complicate transport (e.g., non-running vehicle, modified vehicle).

4. Secure Payment Facilitation (Segregated Account)
When our Services are used to facilitate a vehicle sale between a buyer and seller:

The buyer’s funds are paid into our secure, segregated client account. These funds are held entirely separate from our operational funds.

Funds are released to the seller only after the vehicle has been delivered to the buyer and the buyer has confirmed their approval within a pre-agreed inspection period (e.g., 48 hours).

This service provides financial protection for both parties.
5. Client Obligations
You, the Client, agree and warrant to:

Provide accurate and complete details for the vehicle(s), collection, and delivery addresses.

Provide all necessary documentation (e.g., keys, V5C logbook, MOT certificate if applicable) and proof of ownership/authority to transport the vehicle.

Ensure the vehicle is in the exact condition as described (e.g., “rolling” or “running”). You must declare if the vehicle is non-operational, has modified suspension, or other issues that may affect transport.

Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle. We are not liable for any personal items left inside.

Not request the transport of any prohibited items, including but not limited to: hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms, or high-value personal effects.

Ensure the vehicle is accessible for collection.

Be present, or have an authorized representative present, for collection and delivery to inspect the vehicle and sign the condition report.
6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing to our contact email.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection time will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled collection time may be subject to a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the service cost).

Cancellations made on the day of collection are non-refundable.

Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment bank account within 5-10 business days.
7. Liability and Insurance

Standard Insurance: We maintain Goods in Transit insurance for all vehicles in our care.

Liability Limit: Our liability for any loss or damage to your vehicle during transport is limited to the lesser of the vehicle’s current market value or the maximum limit of our insurance policy.

Additional Insurance: Our standard insurance covers most vehicles. However, if your vehicle’s value exceeds our standard policy limit, you are responsible for securing your own additional insurance.

Exclusions from Liability: We shall not be liable for:

Damage noted on the pre-collection condition report (pre-existing damage).

Loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
-
Damage due to “Acts of God” (Force Majeure, see Section 9).

Damage resulting from the Client’s failure to properly prepare the vehicle for transport.

Damage Claims: Any damage must be noted on the delivery condition report at the time of delivery and signed by both our driver and the Client. Claims not noted at this time will not be accepted.
8. Website Use
All content on our Website, including text, graphics, and logos, is our intellectual property. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written permission. You agree not to misuse the Website, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, uploading malicious software, or engaging in any fraudulent activity.
9. Data Protection
We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy [Insert Hyperlink to Privacy Policy], which is compliant with UK GDPR.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our Services that arises from any event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents, strikes, acts of war or terrorism, or “Acts of God.”
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Northern Ireland.

Jurisdiction: You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland to resolve any disputes.
